PRESIDENTIAL SUPPORT

PRESIDENT OF MALTA SUPPORTS RUGBY LEAGUE

Special guest H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, The President of Malta, was on hand to meet the players before kick-off and watch her national side host Greece in the opening fixture of 2014 RLEF European Championship C at the Melita FC Stadium near Pembroke. 

Accompanied by Greek ambassador to Malta, Alexandros Rallis, Malta Rugby League are honoured by the support displayed in their attendance on this historical day. 

In what was often a brutal encounter in the hot Mediterranean summer, the visitors eventually took away the spoils 32-18 in front of 300 fans.
